1. Travelling with the family:
Baby products are generally not needed for very long, and most people by the rule, are unlikely to travel or holiday more than once or twice during the infancy of their child. If you are only planning one or two small breaks during the time your little on is in infancy then renting a cot for the time you are away may be far cheaper than buying a cot or even a travel cot, while at the same time giving less to pack away, and more comfort.
2. Sleep Overs:
So it’s the summer holidays and the kids are all out playing together, having fun and making relationships. All you hear is ‘when can my friends have a sleepover’? Well renting a folding bed is a great idea during the holidays, or even renting a folding mattress. A folding bed, rented for some of the summer weeks is a great way to let the kids have their friends stay over, without having to worry about the cost or space of having a spare bed, as well as dust, dirt and allergens on the floor if their friends were to just bring a sleeping back.
A folding mattress on the other hand is another great way to ensure your kids have a comfortable sleep if they are the ones heading out for a sleepover. Especially if you don’t know what the sleeping arrangements will be at their friend’s house, you can be assured if they take their own folding mattress with them that they will at least be comfortable and raised off the ground. Folding mattresses are also easy to transport, you can fold them up and send it off with the kids wherever they go.
So you have decided to decorate and renovate, but you don’t want the kids to have to sleep in a room full of paint fumes and dust. You don’t fancy putting your back out either moving beds from room to room as you decorate. Renting a folding bed is a great way to let the kids have a cosy sleep in any room while the work takes place. They fold up, and have wheels to easily transport them around so as you move from room to room with the decorating, you can do the same with the beds.
4. In-laws or family visiting?
If you're short on space but have guests coming to visit for the night, weekend or week, renting a folding bed is the perfect solution. The couch might be suitable for the kids, but not really great for the parents or grandparents, especially not if anyone has back or neck problems. You can be sure guests will be comfortable sleeping on rented folding bed, and they won't have to suffer with dust through the night on an uncomfortable floor, couch or futon. When you don't have any guests staying over, you don't need to worry about storing the folding bed, fold it up and we will take it away so you don't have to give up any space in your house for storage.
5. Short term solution
Renting a folding bed is a great temporary solution for any number of reasons. Whether it is for you having a short stay away or for visitors coming to you, it is a great short term solution that costs a fraction of buying a permanent bed. You don’t need to worry about storage space and we deliver and collect so the process really is hassle free. All you need to do is flatten it out for use, and roll it back up when done, it’s as simple as that.
1. Cheaper to rent
A folding bed is much cheaper to rent than to buy. You can expect to pay north of £100 to purchase, and you can easily double that for one with a reasonable mattress. Also, if it is something you are not going to use very often, will you really get your money’s worth from purchasing? We have very reasonable rates for bed rental and if you are interesting in hiring a bed, give us a call for a quote.
2. Like new every time
Another benefit of bed hire, is that each time you do, it’s like new. If you buy, the bed will age but if you rent, it’s like new each time so you never need to worry about the mattress getting lumpy, dusty or old.
3. No need to store
When you are done with your folding bed, you simply fold it up, call and we will pick it up. If you like you can bring it to us, it's entirely up to you. One of the most important things though, especially if you are tight on space, is that you don't need to worry about storing it away. If you buy, then when it's not in use, they can take up quite a lot of space in a cupboard or corner. If you rent, that is one less thing you need to worry about.
Also, if you are travelling, it may not only save valuable space in the car to rent a bed at your destination than to take one with you, but valuable money too. Travel beds and travel cots can cost a lot more than renting a bed, and you don't need to take it with you when you travel home.
If a folding mattress is more your thing, these can be very versatile. They can be used for more than just sleep, for instance fold it up to make an ottoman, some can fold into a chair too.
